How to Choose the Best Set of Arm Tattoos For You

It used to be that years ago when you saw an arm tattoo, it was on the arm of a very masculine man. Today you see them on men and women of all shapes and sizes. The arm tattoos of years past used to generally be barbed wire encircling the bicep but today you see a wide variety of tattoos in all places on the arm. Studies show that the majority of people getting tattoos today are young adults and women. Because of this the types of tattoo designs that you will see in tattoo parlors are geared towards young college students and women.

If you have decided to get an arm tattoo, how do you go about choosing the design that is right for you? There are plenty of designs to choose from in tattoo parlors but you can take your searching one step further by going online and searching the free websites which offer thousands of tattoo designs. Arm tattoos are extremely popular most likely due to the fact that the arm gives an area that adds both texture and depth to the tattoo.

Before you get any types of tattoo you need to be aware that this requires a commitment on your part as the ink is permanent and will be there forever unless you have it surgically removed. Choosing the design that will be etched on your skin for life should not be made hastily. Take some time to look at different designs. Do you want a tattoo that holds sentimental value or that is a work or art to be enjoyed by all who see it? You should also choose the placement of the tattoo carefully as you will not be able to move it once it is put on.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

If you find that you have a certain type of design that you would like to go with then you may want to go through an online library to make your final decision. You can then take the design to the tattoo artist so that they can do the actual process of tattooing your arm. You need to take some time in choosing your tattoo artist. You do not want to be one of his or her first customers because this will mean that the person has very little experience. Since this is something that will be with you for your whole life you want to go with a tattoo artist that has a great deal of experience in arm tattoos.

Do not forget that tattoos are a way to express yourself so you want to get the best possible artist and design. An arm is the perfect place to display your skin art so make sure that you have it done the right way. From tribal tattoos to intricate butterflies, names and even pictures of a loved one can be made into tattoos. Be sure to take your time choosing the right one and remember to have fun with it.

4 Ways to Download Music to IPhone and Save a Fortune

To download music to iPhone, while saving money is what bothers many iPhone owners. After all, how much the total sum of all pay-per-track downloads would be at the end of the year? You might find out that you could have bought another iPhone on that money!

Forget about expensive music websites; forget about paying per download or for a monthly subscription. Here are the best ways to download music to iPhone and save while doing so:

1. Rip your music CDs.

If you already have a music collection on CDs (and who doesn’t?) you can transfer all the songs to iPhone. It will cost you nothing as all software you require for this are available on the Internet for free. First, you need to rip the songs from your CDs to your computer hard drive, then convert the files into mp3 format, and then transfer the content to your iPhone.

2. Take advantage of free sections of paid websites.

Almost all large paid websites for music downloads such as iTunes have a section, where free music is available. Most of the time, these are featured music from new musicians. Do not count on these sources if you want to pack your iPhone with awesome songs – free sections rarely have an extended list of tracks. But to get a couple of nice songs once in a while for free is absolutely possible.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

3. Register with paid websites and get a bonus.

Many paid music websites gift a number of tracks to all new members as a bonus. For that, you do not have to actually buy anything – quick registration would be enough. Just make sure you are not purchasing a monthly subscription. If the site offers a free trial period, it is another way to enjoy free music, at least while the trial period is valid (after that, the music files normally become unplayable).

4. Use websites for unlimited music downloads.

A great way to download music to iPhone and save a fortune is to purchase a lifetime membership with one of the websites for unlimited downloads. At a low fee, which is taken only once, you can download anything your heart desires and forget about extra charges. The advantage of this method over the previous ones is that you get the largest music selection, with all the latest albums included.

Drawing Cartoons - Design Your Own Comic

There is so much variety in the world of art and this is what attracts so many people to painting and drawing as a hobby. Some people continue to paint and draw in their spare time, finding it a relaxing pursuit and for others, the hobby may turn into a passion as they tap into their creative side. It can even become a lucrative pastime eventually if nurtured enough. To add a fun element to your creative pursuits, why not consider drawing cartoons and designing your own comic?

We have all read various comics when we were children, and we enjoyed following the stories of our favourite characters, their development was as important to us as the characters contained within the pages of a book.

Assuming that cartooning is something that you already do or would enjoy doing, then the very first thing that needs to be done is to start to plan your comic thoroughly by considering the following:

* Theme of the comic

* Name of the comic

* How many stories?

* Develop each story

* Design your characters

* Frequency

Drawing cartoons is great fun in itself but by having a project as fascinating as your very own comic, you have the opportunity to start from scratch and develop your comic into a project which has its own dedicated readership. Once you have decided on a particular story, you need to develop the characters within the story and this means drawing the characters so that they are instantly recognizable. You must be able to draw these characters quickly and easily because the story will be continued every week or month, depending on how often you wish to run the comic.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

Deciding how many stories will be within the comic is important as you do have to consider how long it will take to draw every single story throughout.

If you wish to obtain a lot of exposure regarding your comic, you can arrange to have your own website and publish it online. This is an easy process but will ensure that you start to develop a regular readership and who knows where this project will end up. Drawing Cartoons requires specific skills in itself and by regular practice you will soon see how quickly, and dramatically you improve.

JIMENA Counters Hamas' Comments Regarding Jewish Refugees

San Francisco, California (PRWEB) August 28, 2014

Amidst the flurry of international media surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since Operation Protective Edge, one crucial voice continues to be co-opted and silenced: that of indigenous Mizrahi Jewish refugees from the Middle East and North Africa.

In an August 6, 2014 interview on CNN’s “The Situation Room” with Wolf Blitzer, Hamas spokesman Osama Hamdan was questioned regarding his accusations that Jews “slaughter Christians in order to mix their blood in their holy matzoh.” In response, Hamdan denied the Anti-Semitism in Arab countries, by painting a picture of Islamic societies as pluralistic and accepting of Jews: “The Jews lived in the Arab region and among the Muslims as normal citizens. When the Jews were kicked from Europe in the mid-ages, they came to live in peace in our countries, and they were accepted.” JIMENA President and Libyan native, Gina Bublil-Waldman counters by noting that, “Jews have had a continuous presence in the Middle East for over 2,500 years – an entire millennium before the advent of Islam. Under Muslim rule, many Jewish communities in the Arab world were relegated to a subservient, second-class “dhimmi” status.”

Hamdan is only the most recent to make this claim. Dr. Mousa Abu Marzook, then Deputy Head of Hamas’ political bureau, stated in an August 25, 2008 interview with IslamOnline: “The Jews who were living under the Islamic rule were the happiest on earth…Jews lived freely and ran prosperous businesses in Egypt and Baghdad, and the markets of Baghdad are evidences of what the Jews owned. Jews did not face any persecution or mistreatment.”

Hamas also refuses to recognize Mizrahi refugees, instead blaming them for their own exile and the plight of the Palestinians. In a September 22, 2012 public statement published by Ma’an News Agency, Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri condemned the first UN conference on Jewish refugees from Arab countries, held in New York in 2012, claiming that “those Jews are criminals rather than refugees… They were actually responsible for the displacement of the Palestinian people after they secretly migrated from Arab countries to Palestine before they expelled the Palestinians from their lands to build a Jewish state at their expense.”

As a leading representative voice of Jewish refugees from Arab countries, JIMENA: Jews Indigenous to the Middle East & North Africa aims to achieve universal recognition of the Mizrahi refugee experience by collecting and sharing the personal and communal eye-witness testimonies of some of the 850,000 Jews who fled Anti-Semitic persecution in the Arab world. Legal experts assert that the UN Agency for refugees (UNHCR) recognized Jews fleeing Arab countries as bona fide refugees. UN Resolution 242 which was unanimously adopted by the UN Security Council officially recognized Jewish refugees from Arab countries.

In a JIMENA testimony, Iraqi-born author Emil Murad describes the long history of Anti-Semitism in Iraq: “From l930 all Iraqi governments systematically suppressed any sign of Jewish or national consciousness on the part of the Iraqi Jews…study of Jewish history was forbidden, restrictions were imposed on relations with Jews abroad and Zionism was considered to be treason.” In 1941, these actions culminated in the massacre known as the Farhud: “They began dragging Jews out of buses and murdering them in the road. Wild crowds and defeated soldiers who had returned with their weapons to the city, saw the pogrom as a celebration and a sort of amusement. The Jewish Quarter in the city centre became a battlefield, with looting, robbery, and rape…The pogrom inflicted mortal wounds on the Jewish community.”

JIMENA President Gina Bublil-Waldman recalls the danger to Jews in Arab countries. “We were denied the most basic human and civil rights, such as the right to become citizens, the right to vote, the right to hold public office, or hold government jobs.” Waldman remembers the pogroms in 1945 in her hometown of Tripoli, Libya: “Libyan Arabs looted and burned Jewish homes and killed Jews. They dragged my neighbors and relatives out on the streets and slaughtered them… Nine synagogues – four of them in Tripoli – were burned to the ground, and 35 Torah scrolls were destroyed.”

Mrs. Bublil-Waldman relates to ethnic and religious persecution in Muslim countries today: “Mizrahi refugees can empathize and serve as great allies to minorities from Arab countries. Honoring Mizrahi history is key to understanding the suffering of Yezidis, Christians and other oppressed groups in the Middle East.” In her August 17, 2010 article in The Propagandist, “Why Are The Palestinians Still Refugees” Bublil-Waldman asserts that “The Arab leadership sinned doubly by driving the Jews from their homes in nine Arab countries and at the same time refusing hospitality and integration to their own Palestinian brothers who sought refuge in Arab countries.”

The accounts of Murad and Bublil-Waldman are not unique. They reflect the collective experience of Jews from the Arab world. In their Global100 survey, the Anti-Defamation League found a 74% Anti-Semitism Index for the Middle East region – far higher than any other region in the world. Amidst growing political turbulence and oppression of ethnic and religious minorities in the Middle East, it is all the more imperative to uphold and validate the narratives of Mizrahi refugees. Only then can we begin to comprehend the complex scope of Arab-Israeli conflict.

Photography - The Rule of Thirds

One of the most beneficial rules in photography is a simple one called “The Rule of Thirds”. This one rule can be helpful to amateurs and professionals alike. Practicing this rule will help you set up your composition and it’s not difficult to learn and apply. Making it a habit whenever you take photos will drastically improve the quality of your images.

Believe it or not, we already think in terms of the Rule of Thirds even though we don’t realize it. Following this rule is important to get things going so to speak, taking pictures that are pleasing to the eye. If the view finder in your camera has a grid option this is specifically why it’s there, and it makes it easy. Otherwise you’ll have to imagine it. Imagine your viewfinder as a tic-tac-toe game, with horizontal and vertical lines.

Check out your subject in relationship to those lines. The horizon should run close to either the top or bottom line. This would mean that the sky in a landscape or the background would take up either 1/3 or 2/3 of the image. This creates impact. Take a look at some magazine ads, or some pictures taken by famous photographers and you’ll see what I’m talking about. You’ll see that the sky or ocean in relation to everything else take up most of the frame. Great artists have applied this rule even before the camera was invented!In photography, the four points where your tic-tac-toe lines meet are called “sweet spots”. Pay attention to your image in relationship to these points for a more balanced picture. Good photographers also include diagonal lines. If these lines run through 1 or more of these sweet spots, you’ll have a much more pleasing image.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

Applying this rule matters not only in relation to your individual subject, but to any photo you take. Now this is not a hard and fast rule. As that old saying goes, rules are meant to be broken. You must be willing to break the rule now and then. Just understand the importance of the different parts in order to produce some truly great images! That being said, not everything will fit this “grid” or the sweet spots.

Keeping in mind and practicing the “Rule of Thirds” you’ll find yourself producing some wonderful pictures that have real impact. It doesn’t just apply to portraits or single subjects either. You can practice this in landscapes and still life pictures too.

Also, whenever the opportunity presents itself, play around with different angles. If a certain subject looks good in your framework from straight on, how would it look from below or above? Let your imagination and creativity flow. Remember, no matter whom you are, or what level of expertise you are at, you can take great pictures in very little time. Just make the rule of thirds a mind set and use it at every opportunity. Happy picture taking!

Hazing and Its Effects, An Article Released Today By NoBullying

London, UK (PRWEB) August 18, 2014

Hazing has become an important topic over the past decade or so. Older parents, though, might reflect on their own college time and remember how hazing used to be a normal everyday routine that has little or no consequences. NoBullying releases today an article about hazing and its effects.

Hazing stories usually involve teens and youth doing certain activities as a rite of passage to become part of a fraternity or an elite group.

The act of hazing may not have always been such a serious topic. Most organizations that give new pledges a hard time might be trying to make new members “pay dues” or simply become acclimated and familiar with a hierarchy. But the definition of hazing has since changed dramatically.

Hazing has become a borderline inhumane practice that is far too similar to actual bullying. There have been many examples where hazing that was considered harmless has resulted in terrible outcomes such has injury or even death.

A more generalized definition of hazing is “any humiliating or dangerous activity expected of a student to belong to a group, regardless of their willingness to participate.”

Hazing rituals usually include actions along the lines of water overdosing, tattooing, piercing, sleep deprivation and name calling among other things.

What makes hazing a complex issue is that it’s often interchanged with bullying, however, there are differences between hazing and group bullying or gang bullying, they are similar in the fact that both rely on the power of peer pressure.

The difference between hazing and bullying is subtle, which is why they’re often used interchangeably. The same power dynamics are involved. The same intimidation tactics are used. The same second-class citizenship issues arise. The only real difference between hazing and bullying is that bullying usually involves singling out an individual at any time and bullying them as a means to exclude them. Hazing, on the other hand, involves including people by having them “earn” their way into a group or onto a team. Bullying is about exclusion. Hazing is about inclusion.

NoBullying is releasing a series of articles examining hazing in the months of August and September as hazing involves the same cruel acts as bullying only with less legal consequences, sadly.

Ciaran Connolly, Co-Founder of NoBullying.com, said, “Yes, there are major differences between hazing and bullying. However, both have one shared feature, they are both unkind acts of cruelty towards another human being for stupid illogical reasons. Hazing needs to be criminalized and stopped.”

He added that parents and teachers should make a point to educate the younger generations about the sad outcome of bullying online and offline. According to Connolly, it is quite imperative to press for more firm laws condemning all acts of bullying and harassment.

NoBullying.com features many pages dedicated to parents, teens, teachers, health professionals as well as posts related to cyber safety and the latest news about law making concerning curbing Bullying worldwide as well as inspirational Bullying Poems and famous Bullying Quotes.

The website regularly updates its bullying statistics and cyber bullying statistics as it is essential to understand how widespread the bullying epidemic is. It also regularly runs cyber bullying surveys and questionnaires to get recent updated statistics on everything related to cyberbullying.

He also added that anyone suffering from bullying in any form or way can always find advice and help on the NoBullying website – but if anyone is suffering from severe bullying or cyber bullying, the best thing is to talk to someone locally – a parent, teacher or local organization that has been set up to help with specialized councilors to deal with this topic.

Tribal Forearm Tattoos

Wearing tribal tattoos is definitely not a new thing in the tattoo industry. These designs have remained popular for several years among many different tribes and communities. They were worn during the ancient times to distinguish a person from others, often as the leader of the group. Times have changed, and this kind of tattoo has transformed to become one of the most favorite designs flaunted by today’s youngsters. The best part to wear this type of tattoo is the forearms.

Sporting tribal tattoos on the forearm is a great and stylish way to display your individuality and uniqueness. You will realize that this type of body art are often worn by men, particularly people who are sportsmen, bodybuilders and wrestlers. They are usually meant for people who are brave and bold in nature. Several personalities and celebrities have been seen with these tattoos including David Beckham (a famous football star) and Randy Orton (a popular wrestler).

For women, tribal tattoos with small but simple designs are the most appropriate ones. Generally, this tattoo design is made in a navy blue or black color. Bigger tattoos may also be intricately integrated with shoulder tattoos. Quite a number of these tattoos are sported just for the style element and not to signify any meaning. When it comes to selecting tribal forearm tattoos, there are several designs that one can choose from, in which each of them has its own unique features.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

Tribal Forearm Tattoo Designs:

A notable characteristic that is associated with almost all kinds of tribal tattoos is the sharp and thorny ends. A tribal tattoo can be of a simple design or a sophisticated blend of various patterns and designs. A perfect and bold tribal tattoo design is considered to be that of a bull’s face in black color. Another simple yet stylish design is an image of the sun with sharp outer flames. The design is best suited for women. You may even have your name written in the tribal format. For those who prefer fierce designs, dragon tattoos can be their best bet. This tattoo will really look great on the forearm, in which the dragon’s tail and head wrap around the arm.

You can even opt for abstract designs, like coiling and overlapping thorn patterns, to create your own customized tribal tattoos. Tribal tattoo designs can be used to combine a wide variety of patterns consisting of plants, animals, flowers and other related things. If you don’t like to cover a greater part of the forearm with patterns, then tribal forearm band tattoo designs are certainly the best option. You can wear simple band tattoo designs around the forearm, which would not appear too intricate. Band tattoos are usually appropriate for women. You can include Celtic tattoos and use various colors in the design. Butterfly and Angel designs can be achieved with the use of tribal patterns.

Author to Teach How to Elevate Fine Food with a Musical Pairing at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Manhattan

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 10, 2014

Gastronomy is the art of cooking or eating fine food. Music is the art of sound in time. Now, Barbara Werner, a New York City-based author and professionally-trained chef, is offering a class, to be hosted at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse on July 17th, on how to elevate the culinary arts with the perfect musical pairing.

Ms. Werner has invited foodies and food bloggers to the launch party for her new book, Musical Pairing: The Art of Harmonizing Music to Your Meal and a lesson staged by Musical Pairing LLC at the renowned steakhouse, located at 148 W 51st St., in Manhattan. With an open heart, an open mind, and a simple mathematical formula foodies can learn how to elevate a good dish to greatness and a great dish to near perfection.

Barbara Werner is a modern-day Renaissance woman; a professionally-trained chef from a long line of Italian cooks, author of the children’s book “The Magic Flower”, and an audiophile who is skilled in bartending, fine scotch, and canine massage therapy. Dub Turbo - Digital Music Production Software

In this troubled economy, a lot of people are looking the most value they can get for their dollar. If you’re in the market for digital music production software that spits out professional sounding beats for a fraction of what some of the top dollar music production studio suites run for then Dub Turbo may be right one for you.

Dub Turbo comes with a wide variety of pre-loaded sample tracks, so you will never be at a loss for where to get started, and with their easy to use interface, you won’t have to spend a lot of time learning your way around the software either. The clearly defined set of instructions will have your software installed and ready to use in a matter of minutes, and a complete novice can have their first track laid out in under an hour.

If you have done any searching at all on the internet for Digital Music Production Software then you know that these packages run up into the hundreds, some in the thousands, of dollars range. Not just the price, but you really have to be a professional to figure out how to use them. That’s all out the window with Dub Turbo. You will sound like the pros and for pennies on the dollar for what some the over-priced alternatives charge. Quality, ease of use, and affordability were the key factors in the owners coming up with software, and nothing was left out in their determination to produce the sickest beat making software on the internet.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

This is not in an mp3 format either. Dub Turbo gives a professional, studio quality sound. They use a 44.1K wave file that really gives depth to your music. DNA Test from DNA Spectrum Shows Heritage Like a Map of the Past

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 22, 2014

The DNA Spectrum Ancestry Map provides customers will a clear and concise visual representation of history, migration, and culture.

Throughout his childhood years, Mr. Novak was always regaled by family history stories stemming from Europe. His father passionately referred to the historic location as the “old country.” Pictures and 8mm home movies painted an elaborate picture of an unknown and undiscovered side of the family, and Steve ordered a test from DNA Spectrum to expand upon the knowledge of his ancestry and to visually represent his geographical roots for family and friends.

Mr. Novak felt different as an American, born in the United States, of two American parents, with completely different backgrounds. Mr. Novak’s mother was predominantly of German and French descent, while his father was born of two Yugoslavian parents from the Dalmatian coast of what is now Croatia.

Mr. Novak was always intrigued by the Croatian side of the family. His older relatives could speak a language that had not passed on to him, and he reveled in the jokes that they found funny and the traditions that they painstakingly passed down. Of course, even more importantly, he had researched the hardships they had endured. They talked of politics and religion outside of democracy, which he had never experienced. Steve understood an occasional word of the Slav dialect here and there, but there was an obvious gap in how his ancestors viewed their ancestry and how he viewed his.

Mr. Novak always found his family to be slightly darker skinned than most caucasian individuals in the United States, with dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair. He was the only individual in his family with blue eyes, which he believes stems from his French and German mother, who always seemed to stand out as being decidedly different.

Most of the paternal side of his family hailed from a small island off the Dalmatian coast and were predominantly fisherman by trade. They would tell stories of boat trips through the Adriatic and sailing South into the Mediterranean. Mr. Novak would sit and listen and ask an occasional question to avoid interrupting the stories. His father would sit and listen with more, if not greater interest than him. Steve’s father grew up with these stories and listened as if it was always the first time he had heard them. His father always felt this sense of nostalgia when listening to stories of the old country, the house in which his grandfather was born, and the family members that still reside on the small island in Croatia.

Croatia, the Slovak Republic, and multiple Romanian populations (specifically gypsy populations) dominated most of his profile. Even more surprisingly were population matches to India. As he continued to look deeper and deeper into migration paths and ancestry, he learned that many gypsy populations in his region originated in India. The migration paths into Europe occurred nearly a thousand years ago and are all eloquently displayed in the historic atlas.

When Steve presented the findings to his father, he was completely overjoyed and intrigued by the results. They shared the dichotomy of his mother’s genetic contribution versus his father’s old world roots. It opened up doorways to information that they hadn’t realized before and the original map provided an excellent medium for exploration.

Were his father’s ancestors actually gypsies? They had to know more. His father was eager to get his own DNA test done to understand more of his ancestry as well. His results complemented Mr. Novak’s, and even more intriguing was a Jewish heritage marker in his father’s profile that was completely absent in his. He never realized that ancestry could be qualified in such a meaningful manner. Mr. Novak stated, “My heritage is written in my DNA like a map to my past that was never fully realized as I was growing up. Now, I have my own story and map to share with my children and this information will be passed down for generations.”

How to Create a Facebook Page to Promote Your Business

Here’s the big question everyone is asking: Should you create a Facebook Profile, Facebook Page or a Facebook Group? The short answer is that a business should have a Facebook Page. Facebook Groups are for people with similar interests and follower of a cause or particular event and Facebook Profiles are for your personal profile only. Each (business owner or not) is required to sign up for a Facebook Profile to start out.

What’s the difference? Facebook Pages are for businesses in the same way that Facebook Profiles are for individuals. Facebook Groups joined by individuals who share the same interests or support the same cause. Pages are like a mini, one page website for your business. Pages are well organized and straight to the point for local businesses, services and even musicians and bands. Pages allow you to reach a targeted audience in an organized manner, quickly and efficiently.

Have you ever visited a business’ Facebook Page and noticed it has thousands of “Likes” yet the page itself has little to no content? This is a phenomenon of social networks in the sense that the follower of said Facebook Page might not necessarily like the business or product, but by clicking the “Like” button, the product or business is exposed to all of that person’s Facebook friends and therefore further defines said person’s interests and likes.

So let’s get down to it, how do you use a Facebook Page to promote a business? Just follow these simple steps.

Setting up your Page: Login to Facebook. Click on “Ads and Pages”. Click on the “Pages” link with a little flag icon next to it. Select the type of business from the drop-down list and type a name. Click on the “Create Page” button.

Customize your new Facebook Page for your business (Hours, Directions, Parking, Description, Website, Phone).

Connect your Facebook Page to a Twitter account.

Suggest your new Page to your friends. Groups of friends, colleagues and family members.

Run a Facebook Ad campaign to promote your Page. Pay per click, target market, demographics, etc.

Create your first wall post.

Add a Like Box to your website.

Use Facebook Insights and Analytics to measure user data and interaction.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

Now that we covered how to setup your Page, how do you use it to promote your business? There are a couple of items I recommend.

First, make sure there is a visible hyperlink to your business’ website located somewhere highly visible on your page. Do not name your page:

“yourbusiness.com” as we aren’t setting up a page for your website, rather your business. An appropriate Page name would be “My Name Business, Inc.” or “Widgets, LLC”, etc.

Second, make sure you clearly post the type of business from the drop-down menus at the top of the “Info” page. This will help clearly define the style template Facebook Pages will apply to your page.

Third, post your hours of operation. Making sure to mark which days you are open and which days you are closed.

Fourth, post your local telephone number(s). Fifth, write a complete description of your business. Feel free to include a description of the most popular products and services you offer as well.

Fifth, start interacting with your Facebook Page. Create a few wall posts and make sure you have a hand full of photos uploaded, especially a Profile Photo. I recommend using your company’s logo to keep it professional. Do not use your personal photos on your Facebook Page.

And Finally, make sure to invite all of your Facebook friends! This is important. If you don’t send out invites, no one will be able to find your newly created Facebook Page. Going further past this step, you can hyperlink to your Facebook page on your company’s website and add a “Like” box as well. Facebook offers about a dozen different ways to integrate with your website. Good luck out there.

The Photography Diffuser - A Portable Cloud

The photography diffuser is one of the most useful pieces of equipment a photographer can own! They can smooth out wrinkles, diffuses the light, help us control our shadows and tone down those harsh contrasts! They are indispensable!

First…what is a photography diffuser?

There are a couple different types of photo gear that could be considered a diffuser. You could smear some Vaseline over the lens – it’s diffusing the light that goes into the camera and could be called a photography diffuser. Or, you could have a cloud passing by in front of the sun and THAT TOO could be called a diffuser!

For the purposes of this article, we’ll think of anything put on the lens as a filter and anything put in front of the light source as a diffuser.

As I said, a cloud can be a diffuser…

Imagine the sun. In relation to our size, it’s just a tiny little thing way up there in the sky. Since it is very bright, yet small, it creates some pretty harsh, black shadows.

Imagine a white puffy cloud floating in front of the sun…What happens?

Now the sunlight is hitting the back of the cloud and bouncing all over the place! When the – diffused – light comes through the cloud, it has now turned the entire cloud into a huge diffused light source.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

Since our light is now diffused, it’s softer and less intense. Plus since the light source is much bigger, the light tends to wrap around our subject and soften or even almost eliminate the shadows!

That’s a diffuser and ALL diffusers operate on the same principle. Now imagine a studio strobe lighting system. We don’t generally have clouds floating around in the studio so how can we diffuse our lights? Easy! Just put some translucent material in front of the light.

Have you seen photographers shooting their light through umbrellas? That’s a diffuser. Diffusers can be called umbrellas, softboxes, screens and dozens of other names depending on the shape and materials they are made of.

But, if you think of a photography diffuser as nothing more than a man made cloud, you should have no trouble understanding how they work and when they should be used.

Arm Tattoos - Choosing a Design For Life!

Now where do you start when choosing arm tattoos? Most people just enter a search phrase into one of the search engines and get back endless pages of online sites offering low end designs that everybody has. Remember the design you choose will become part of who you are. Part of your human signature.

Another thing to look out for is the quality of the art work. A lot of what you will find out there was never meant to be used for arm tattoos and it will never look as sharp when the tattoo is inked in. Don’t rush into your decision about what arm tattoos will be best for you and then regret it later, because although they can be removed it is very painful and can leave scarring.

When doing your research for arm tattoos you could end up gathering hundreds of possible designs that MAY be suitable. This could cost you a lot of time and money

Designs can cost between $7 – $25 each, so choose carefully.

Another good place to look for arm tattoos is by looking a specialised internet forums designed specifically for the niche that you want, because forums are made up of real life people, with real life experiences and they are only too happy to share their knowledge of where to get the best designs. If you are not sure what to say just stick your request for arm tattoos wanted and you will get sent links of where to look.

One more thing that I wanted to remind you of when choosing arm tattoos. I know it may sound like I am stating the obvious, but some people don’t realise that because the shape of the arm is cylindrical, any designs that are viewed flat could appear distorted when put on the arm. This obviously depends on the size of your tattoo and where it will go on your arm.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push();

A little tip that may help is that you print the arm tattoos that you are interested in to the appropriate size and hold them up to the position of where you want it on your arm. Then attach it with sticking tape and go look in the mirror and view it from all angles, because that is how other people will see it.

I mentioned in the beginning of my article about the sentiment of tattoos and here are some ideas to give you inspiration.

Animal Tattoos

If you are thinking of getting arm tattoos in the form of an animal you may like to know that it is linked to the same process to buying cologne, perfumes or clothing, where we are subconsciously doing it to attract, or to bring the animal out in us. Well, animal tattoos do the same thing but they are permanent.

Shape Tattoos

Shapes can say a million words. The deepest meanings in life can be transformed into shapes and from ancient times to the current day shapes have been used to portray what words cannot.

Spiritual Tattoos & Mystical Tattoos

It is not always the case that the choice we make in arm tattoos or any other tattoo can relate to our spiritual or mystical beliefs. Many western cultures are now embracing these beliefs and this is evident with these tattoos appearing on many people from all walks of life.

Internet Marketing Firm to Promote Controversial New Book

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 12, 2013

In the new revolution, an emerging powerhouse called Zebulon Tech may be perhaps the most important player to take the battle field. When author G.S.Kyle sent a free advance copy of his new book The Revolution Begins, to Zebulon Tech, his hope was that the emerging Internet marketing company would be willing to take him on as a client in order to market his book. Upon reading the manuscript submitted by Kyle, Zebulon Tech company founder and president, Josh Caldwell decided to take action.

Kyle’s work depicts a newly formed militia that stands up for constitutional rights when a tyrannical government calls upon the United Nations military force to strip second amendment rights from American citizens. The book is practically ripped from today’s headlines and includes drone and satellite surveillance along with government control of social media and newly discovered abilities to spy on citizens. Kyle forces his readers to take an honest look at what America would begin to look like if such a revolution would occur. He paints a vivid picture of the battles that would take place when a militia armed with AR-15’s, hunting rifles, and a pure will to defend the Constitution stands up to a superior military force equipped with all the weaponry and technological advancements of today’s military.

As Caldwell read the book, his own feelings about the subject were so stirred that he contacted Kyle personally. Most of Caldwell’s life to date has been spent in the defense of the nation, both as a member of the armed forces, and in counter terrorism. His beliefs are in mirror step with the material Kyle produced. So stirred were Caldwell’s patriotic feelings, that he felt an obligation to help Kyle get his book into the hands of as many American citizens as possible.

Zebulon Tech, in a bold move, has begun to market the Molon Labe series at no charge. With their vast expertise in internet marketing, Zebulon Technologies is uniquely qualified to take on this task. Caldwell’s company has perfected the art of getting products and services (or in this case, books) to as many potential clients as possible in the most cost-effective manner. Kyle’s book Mol on Labe, T he Revolution Begins, is available through Amazon .com on the Kindle and e-reader format. As such, Zebulon Tech’s marketing strategy centers around driving as many potential reader’s as possible to the web sites associated with Kyle’ book.

Working with the most up to date strategies learned from marketing experts Dan Kennedy, and Ted Thomas, Zebu lon Tech has refined the internet marketing business. Zebulon Tech takes each client as a new opportunity to learn and improve marketing strategies. Each marketing strategy is completely customized for every new client. In this manner, Zebulon Tech is able to successfully work with a wide variety of industries.

A Typeface Can Be As Individual As You Are

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 11, 2012

LA based type foundry Aerotype has released a unique new script tattoo font family called Keepsake™. Designed by Stephen Miggas, the five member type family can be combined and overlapped to provide a wide range of creative options.

Behind Keepsake’s edgy exterior resides an edgy set of OpenType® font technology features including contextual characters and ligatures, discretionary characters and stylistic alternates, affording the typesetter creative flexibility and versatility. Each face includes three options for every capital letter and multiple lowercase options, including for example, special characters that automatically substitute-in at the ends of words. Other features include four swashy decorative elements and optional old-style figures accessible by supporting application’s OpenType menu.

“Not only is Aerotype’s Keepsake a tattoo-inspired display face — it’s a tidy looking copperplate script in its own right.” notes Grant Hutchinson of Typedia, “The five font flavours provide countless possibilities for layering and combining the engraved, shadow, drop, and filled variations.”

The Keepsake Drop Shadow version can be used in conjunction with the other family members, and colored separately if desired. All five fonts support Latin, Eastern European and Baltic languages. As the name suggests, Keepsake strives to be a treasured member of any type collection.

“Keepsake has evolved considerably over the past few years as I tried to balance the formality of classic penmanship with the edgy look and feel of a script one might find in a tattoo studio.” Miggas explains, “My intention, and hope is that designers find it appropriate for all kinds of script use not just limited to projects in the tattoo genre.”

Keepsake can be purchased and downloaded from the Aerotype web site http://www.aerotype.com as a family or a la carte. There is also a type specimen PDF that details features, extra characters and other goodies.

There are thousands of people who now have a Zune player. This nifty little gadget allows you to play music and other things on it. What is cool about it is that it comes in all different capacity sizes you can store literally thousands and thousands of songs.

If you go online and try to find music to download to your Zune, you will find a ton of different sites you can get music from. There are a lot of choices out there. It is hard to pick which one is the best for you to use or where to even start. My advice is to search for a bit and make note of the sites that look interesting. Then go back and get more detailed information on them.

You will find sites that are free but have limited songs, or sites that charge monthly, or sites that charge you a one time fee. The sites that only charge you once are the best ones. Not only do you get access to thousands and thousands of songs, but you get technical support and protection from spyware and viruses. Not only that but you get access to the latest songs. These systems keep up to date and keep adding music to their library.
